BioWare Montreal has released a blog post which talks about their plans for the next installment into the Mass Effect franchise, Mass Effect 4.
The post, which was published by studio director Yanick Roy, states BioWare Montreal will be leading the development of the title, while BioWare Edmonton will be utilised in a supporting role.
"To ensure a proper and effective transition, we'll continue to be supported by the Edmonton studio through the game's development, working with and learning from them on some critical initiatives," said Roy.
Roy also went on to state that the game will be using EA's Frostbite engine and that Casey Hudson would continue to be the game's Executive Producer, but will be assisted by a Project Director.
No platforms were mentioned, but learnings from Dragon Age III, which will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, would be used when developing Mass Effect 4.
