Despite high expectations from Nintendo, all three of the Nintendo Wii U's main launch exclusives failed to sell enough to appear in the Top 10 of the UK all-formats sales charts.
Nintendo Land managed to accrue the most sales following the console's release on the 30th of November, allowing it to appear in 11th. This was to be expected, as it's packed in with Premium versions of the Wii U console.
New Super Mario Bros. U was the second best selling Wii U exclusive, appearing in 14th. However, Ubisoft's exclusive, ZombiU, could only manage an appearance in 17th. In comparison, Far Cry 3 managed to sell enough copies for a debut in 2nd position behind Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Other third-party titles for the Wii U, such as Rabbids Land, failed to chart inside the Top 40 although it will be interesting to see how these titles perform in next week's chart.
