Joakim Mogrem Confirms The Phantom Pain Runs On Fox Engine

During a secret interview with Geoff Keighley on Games Trailers TV, they got a chance to sit down and talk with Joakim Mogrem, CEO of Moby Dick Studio. Moby Dick Studio is the mysterious studio behind The Phantom Pain that many suspect to be a teaser for Metal Gear Solid V.

While the interview didn't lead to much, the burn victim CEO Joakim Mogrem let slip that the game runs on Kojima's FOX engine. This engine is exclusive to Konami titles from what we have seen at the moment, but this most likely is another hint pointing towards Kojima Productions being the real developer.

Some smaller bits of info also came out of this odd interview. Mogrem was able to show a few new screens and concept art for The Phantom Pain. They also announced that they would be at GDC 2013 with a brand new trailer for the game. Mogrem couldn't say much about it besides the fact that it will answer all questions you may have about The Phantom Pain.

The Games Developers Conference is also a frequent spot for Hideo Kojima to show up at so we might finally see what this game really is. What do you think after this odd interview and are you convinced that The Phantom Pain is another Metal Gear game yet? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
