After announcing that the Wii title Donkey Kong Country Returns was coming to the 3DS, Nintendo has been pretty quiet about it till now. Now we find that the game has a lot of new changes to it, but not in the way most fans might want.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will include New Mode where the game is rebalenced to make it easier to play than the original Wii title. Making the game easier besides re worked levels is you now have two more hearts to get hit and tons of items to save you in the game.
These new items range from a crash guard while riding the mine carts, green baloons to save you from falling, and portable DK barrles to call in another Kong to join you. These are obviously made since the original game was known for being quite challenging. The original game is thankfully still there if you are up for a challenge unlike any other Donkey Kong game before it.
There are also going to be eight new levels included with this title after beating the main game. Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will release May 24. Did you miss out on the original Wii title and will pick up this 3DS version? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
