It looks like our fellow gaming brothers and sisters in South Africa will finally have their own eShop for the Wii U and 3DS on the 10th of April, 2013.
For quite some time now, South Africans had to resort to linking their Wii Us and 3DSs to PAL territories to access and download eShop content. This was due to the Nintendo eShop simply not supporting their region. However, Nintendo of South Africa announced that by the 10th of April they will have their own South American eShop and only have to make sure that their systems are up to date to access the content.
While it's questionable as to why Nintendo waited so long to give South Africa their eShop, it's great to see that they will soon have access to digital content with out having to go the extra mile.
