Naughty Dog announced through the PlayStation Official Blog that the first details about the multiplayer mode for The Last of Us will be revealed very soon.
With just two weeks left until release, Sony has been keeping the title's multiplayer an absolute secret. Despite this, Naughty Dog has already said before that this will be "the best multiplayer ever made". For now, we can only speculate about what can this consecrated studio offer with this mode in The Last of Us, although it will most likely be different from the multiplayer mode of the Uncharted series.
Despite all the secrecy, it's already been confirmed that there will be a $20 Season Pass, which will give players access to an additional single player story as well as two multiplayer packs, with Maps and "other expansions" arriving later after The Last of Us launches. This is a 30% savings over the pricing of the DLC packs individually.
Those that decide to buy the Season Pass will also get the following Day 1 bonuses:
-Increased Crafting Speed
-Increased Healing Speed
-9mm Reload Speed Upgrade
-Rifle Clip Capacity Upgrade
-Grounded "“ exclusive 90 minute "Making of The Last of Us" documentary
The Last of Us will be released on June 14th exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
