The new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain debut at Microsoft's press conference and lasted around seven minutes. Hideo Kojima has now released his director's cut version of the trailer that now goes over nine minutes. The trailer has some very graphic content in these added scenes in the beginning so you have been warned.

While the majority of the trailer is still the same gameplay from yesterday's trailer the added scenes go a bit deeper into the games darker storyline. The new opening has a very graphic scene where Big Boss and Chico have to cut open someone who is till alive just to grab a bloody package. There is also a scene of Ocelot torturing a man who looks like Huey. The end also has a special treat showing Big Boss climbing a small Metal Gear-like piece of equipment.

It is great to see that Kojima is still so actively involved in this latest Metal Gear game and had a brilliant new trailer to show all of the eager fans. What do you think of this director's cut trailer for MGSV? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
