New images have surfaced from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, which show off a second form for one of Pokémon's more famous Pokémon, Mewtwo.
These appear from the latest trailer for a new Pokémon animated film in Japan. It's called Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo's Awakening. In the trailer, Mewtwo can be seen transforming in a form which has been confirmed for the next handheld installment of the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon X/Y.
Game Freak are again handling the development of Pokémon X/Y, having previously worked on the main series titles. However, unlike previous titles, which have been released as two colours, this latest version is being called Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
The addition of this new form for Mewtwo is sure to please fans, as Mewtwo has been a mainstay in the franchise since the original game and has featured in every Pokémon generation since.
Both games are due to release on the same day around the world. So if you haven't got a Nintendo 3DS yet and you're a big fan of Pokémon, you'll need to get your hands on one before the 12th of October, 2013, so you can play either Pokémon X or Pokémon Y.
