Microsoft Pulling An Xbox One80 On DRM And Region Locking

After weeks of people hating on the Xbox One after it's official reveal, Microsoft has decided to reverse its policies for the new system. You will now only need a one-time system setup that will require an internet connection and no more daily check-ins. The console will also no longer be region locked either.

Don Mattrick was the one to announce this new policies changes. Other changed features for the Xbox One will be that game discs will work just like they do one the Xbox 360. Now you don't need to worry about buying used games for the system anymore. Trading games between users will not have any restrictions. Lastly, all downloaded games can be played offline as opposed to online only like previously stated.

The Xbox One will still cost $499.99 and the PS4 only cost $399.99, the console war is sure to start heating up even more after this latest change. Does this latest change for the Xbox One change your mind on if you will pick it up or not? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
