This weeks latest Jump magazine has revealed that an expansion in the form of DLC will be coming this Winter to Bravely Default in Japan. The expansion will be available to purchase December 5th. You will even be able to buy the game at retail with everything packed in for ¥4,990 or just the expansion as a download for ¥2900 of the eShop.
While some may be disappointed that a sequel was not announced for Bravely Default, but continuing the game's story is better than getting nothing after many months after release. With the North American and European version of Bravely Default not coming till 2014 maybe Square Enix will include this DLC right off the bat in some sort of international version of the game.
In case you don't know, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy was the first non-Final Fantasy RPG from the studio who made the FF3/4 DS remakes and Four Warriors of Light.
