Sony has officially announced the release date for the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe at the end of their Gamescom 2013 conference. North America will be getting the PS4 right before Black Friday on November 15th and in Europe on November 29th.
The PS4 will launch in 32 countries and more release details for the rest of the countries will be sure to follow in the following weeks leading up to release. This will now put Sony up against Microsoft's Xbox One releasing sometime in November as well.
The PS4 will release at $399 and is still available to pre-order from many major retailers. How do you feel Sony's conference ended compared to all of the Xbox One news from earlier today? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
