It's been announced that Minecraft on the Xbox 360 has managed to sell over 8 million copies since its release.
Minecraft has been available on the Xbox 360 since the 9th of May, 2012. It become a full-on boxed product on the 4th of June, 2013. During that time, it's broken numerous sales records on the Xbox 360, such as becoming the best selling game on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Mojang aren't resting on their laurels though, as they are still very much into releasing Title Update 12. It's in testing at the moment, but it looks to add Ocelots, baby villagers, iron golems, the redstone lamp, new rare items and some new AI for enemies.
Of course, Title Update 12 will also include other small changes to the game, as well as some bug fixes for core elements of the game. We'll let you know when this has been pushed to the live servers.
