No Plans For Batman: Arkham Origins On PS4/Xbox One

Warner Bros. Interactive has revealed that there are no plans to bring Batman: Arkham Origins onto Sony and Microsoft's next generation platforms.

Despite many other publishers like Activision, EA and Ubisoft choosing to release multi-generation games such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin's Creed IV and Battlefield 4, Warner Bros. has made the decision to focus on releasing Batman: Arkham Origins only on currently available platforms.

This means we'll be seeing Batman: Arkham Origins on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Nintendo Wii U - not the PS4 or Xbox One.

The news came from Ben Mattes, a Senior Producer from Warner Bros. Montreal. He was responding to a query on Twitter and said "I can 100 per cent confirm that Arkham Origins will only ship on the announced platforms. It is not coming to PS4 or Xbox One."

Batman: Arkham Origins is planned to release on the 25th of October, 2013 in Europe, with a release a few days prior in North America.
