PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Won't See New Characters Or Stages

Although many have been waiting for more characters to join Sony's crossover PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, it was revealed today that won't happen. According to a Sony Santa Monica representative, the characters and environments released so far represent the full content for the game.

Despite this, Sony confirmed that the producer will release a third set of costumes for Dante, Raiden, Heihachi and Big Daddy. These costumes were only available as a pre-order bonus in the US, and will be released now as a free download on PlayStation Network on the 27th of August.

In addition, Zeus and Isaac's third costumes will also be available for free, however these will only go live alongside the next patch for the game. Sony is working on a patch for the game in order to balance some of the game's mechanics, although this patch is still in early stages of development.
