Vita Firmware 2.60 Now Available

Sony has released the new Playstation Vita 2.60 firmware update which is now available to download. This new version comes with new features including the ability to back up save files to the cloud and streaming content from connected devices.

Here is the complete updated notes.

-You can now easily upload and download your saved data using online storage. Select the Playstation Plus icon in the LiveArea screen for each application. (A subscription to Playstation Plus is necessary.)
-Some items have been added to the menu that appears when you press and hold the PS button.
-You can now play content saved on a connected device (PS3 system or PC) with [Videos] and [Music].
-[Devices] has been newly added under [Settings], and [Bluetooth Settings] has been moved under [Devices].
-In addition, the usability of many features has been improved.

The new content under the menu accessed by holding the PS button includes quick access to Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, and Wireless toggles. Unfortunately has not been updated at this time, so further details are not available to the contrary.
