Back in August, Sony revealed that those that pre-ordered a PS4 after the 6th of August might not get the console at launch, although no more details were revealed about this. In an interview with computerandvideogames, Sony's UK managing director, Fergal Gara, revealed that every PS4 pre-order done after the 6th of August will be delivered in time for Christmas.
When asked if PlayStation UK was facing PS4 stock shortages, Gara said "everyone who has put down a pre-order so far will definitely get one before Christmas, as long as nothing goes terribly wrong," and continued on to say "if things keep going well we'll delight even more people on day one. We don't want to over-promise and under-deliver, we want to do the opposite." Gara also added that at the start of 2014 there will be enough stock to fill the shelves.
The PS4 will be released on the 15th of November in North America, arriving at Europe two weeks later, on the 29th of November.
