Apple has announced to the world the next iteration into its iPad franchise, which they have decided to call iPad Air.
It was unveiled at a packed press conference where they detailed exactly what this new iPad will be bringing to the table. Sporting a 9.7-inch Retina Display, which is capable of displaying at 2048x1536, it will also be 7.5mm thick and weight approximately 1 lbs.
The basic version of the iPad Air will cost £399/$499, while a 32GB version will retail at £479/$599. If you want even more storage space, Apple are offering a 128GB version for £639/$799.
It will also feature MIMO technology, which Apple state will enable the iPad Air to open apps twice as fast as previous versions, and it will also have doubt the WiFi transfer rate.
