Battlefield 4 'China Rising' And 'Second Assault' DLC Details Revealed

DICE has revealed more details regarding Battlefield 4's 'China Rising' and 'Second Assault' DLC, including a release date for each pack. Both expansions will feature 4 new maps, new vehicles, 5 new weapons, new game modes, and more.

'Second Assault' will be available as a timed exclusive for Xbox One on the 22nd of November, and will be featuring content inspired in Battlefield 3, including fan-favourite maps and game modes. The expansion will include:

  • Four Battlefield 3 Maps: Operation Metro 2014, Caspian Border 2014, Gulf of Oman 2014 and Operation Firestorm 2014
  • Five weapons that have been remastered
  • Ten assignments with new unlocks
  • 'Capture the Flag' mode from Battlefield 3
  • Dune Buggy (DPV) vehicle

'China Rising' will be available on the 3rd of December on all consoles, and will feature four brand new maps set across the Chinese mainland, new game modes, and more. The expansion will include:

  • Four brand new maps: Silk Road, Altai Range, Guilin Peaks, and Dragon Pass
  • Five new weapons
  • Two new vehicles: bomber and dirt bike.
  • Two new gadgets: the Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) for the Support class, and the Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SUAV) for the Recon class
  • Air Superiority Game Mode
  • Ten assignments with new unlocks

Both expansions will be available for Battlefield 4 Premium members 2 weeks early. Battlefield 4 is already available for PS3, PS4 (North America), Xbox 360, PC, and will be availble for Xbox One on the day the console launches, on the 22nd of November.
