Diablo III 'Reaper Of Souls' Expansion Release Date Confirmed

Blizzard Entertainment announced that the 'Reaper of Souls', Diablo III's first expansion, will be released on the 25th of March, 2014. The expansion will be available on Mac and PC.

The digital version of the game is already available at Battle.net for pre-order, with the Standard Edition being available for £32.99/€39,99/$39.99, while the Deluxe Edition, which includes the game, three additional character slots and lots of in-game content, will be available for £49.99/€59.99/$59.99. In addition, a Collector's Edition will be available only at selected retailers for €79.99/$79.99. This edition will include the content of the Deluxe Edition, plus a mousepad, a hardback art book and a behind the scenes Blu-Ray/DVD set.

Reaper of Souls is set after the conclusion of Diablo III, with players being introduced to a new character, The Crusader. In addition, not only the new adventure mode will offer more freedom, with players being able to travel to any waypoint in any Act, but it will also feature a improved loot system, allowing players to get better loot.
