EA Halts Battlefield 4's Expansions Until DICE Fixes All Issues

EA has announced that all future DICE projects, including Battlefield 4's expansions, have been halted until DICE fixes all Battlefield 4's issues. Battlefield 4 launched with several technical issues across all platforms, including frequent crashing, bugs that wipes single-player save progress, and players unable to join servers.

"We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game "” it is absolutely our No. 1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game. Since Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack was already in the final stages of development by the time issues began with Battlefield 4, we decided to fulfill our promise to deliver it this week, but we're not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4. We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel their pain. We will not stop until this is right," said a EA spokesperson.

The China Rising expansion was released yesterday, but unfortunately, it only added more issues to the game, including players being unable to access the content or join any servers. A patch for the Xbox One version should be available sometime this week, while the patch for the PS4 version has been delayed for "additional testing."
