The Division on PC won't be a simple port of the PS4 and Xbox One versions, revealed Ubisoft during a Q&A on the game's official website. The developer stated that players can expect a "full-fledged, optimised version" of The Division on PC.

"As you know, Massive has its roots in PC development. We are working hard and we want to make sure that we have a very high quality experience on PC. You can be sure that our PC version won't be a port, but a full-fledged, optimized version! We want to create the best game possible regardless of what platform you play on," said the Ubisoft.

Despite this, Ubisoft didn't confirm if the PC version will feature significant advantages in comparison to next-gen consoles. The Division was originally confirmed as a PS4 and Xbox One exclusive, but due to fan demand, the game was later announced for PC.

The Division will be released in late 2014 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
