Namco Bandai has announced that the latest title in the long-running Tales of series, Tales Of Zestiria, will be coming to North America and Europe following its Japanese announcement earlier this morning.

This news follows earlier announcements this year with the localizations of Tales of Xillia 2 and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, both of which are set to release in 2014. Makoto Yoshizumi, "˜Tales of' Chief Producer from NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc., had this to say about the announcement:

[
]2015 marks the 20th anniversary for the 'Tales of' franchise in Japan and I would like to thank all the fans who have supported us for the past two decades from the bottom of my heart. In recent years we have received anticipation for the series not only from Japan, but from overseas fans as well. Because of this I feel that the Tales of series has more potential than ever before. For this reason we are taking this opportunity to announce Tales of Zestiria as a worldwide release. This title will be going back to the roots of the series and boldly exclaim to the world 'this is TALES OF!'[
]

The press announcement didn't state a specific release timeline for either territory, but considering the early announcement it's likely it won't be too far off from the Japanese release. Tales Of Zestiria will be released exclusively for the PS3.

Also, our Tales of network site, Tales Union, has some more information on the characters and the game world for those that are interested.
