After being rumored that the Tomb Raider reboot would be released on next-gen consoles, it has been confirmed today that the Tomb Raider: Definite Edition will be released for PS4 and Xbox One. The next-gen title was revealed via an advert before the VGX event started, with Amazon revealing more details of the game.
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will feature visual improvements compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, with the title being re-built specifically for its release on next-gen consoles. In addition, the Definitive Edition will also include all the DLC released so far, including the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer, six outfits for Lara, a digital mini art book, and the digital comic "The Beginning."
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be available for PS4 and Xbox One on the 28th of January in North America. A release date for Europe has yet to be confirmed, but according to last month's rumor, the title it will be released on the 24th of January in Europe.
