Mojang has announced that Minecraft: PS3 Edition has managed to sell more than one million copies since it was released just five weeks ago.
The game released on the PS3 at the end of 2013 and has left Mojang in a buzz. "It is crazy considering the game was released just before Christmas last year," said Daniel Kaplan, business developer at Mojang.
Kaplan continued by saying "We are super grateful for the support and we are very thankful for your dedication and I hope you will like the future updates we have planned for you."
Mojang have also set about making additional versions for the game, with versions for the PS4 and Xbox One in development at the moment. The PS4 version was supposed to be a launch title for the console, but it was delayed towards the end of last year.
Despite these releases, Mojang has confirmed that Minecraft will not be releasing on the Nintendo Wii U.
