With the release of 'Second Assault', Battlefield 4's second DLC pack, taking place next week, DICE has decided to reveal more details regarding the third DLC pack, 'Naval Strike'. Just like all other DLC packs, 'Naval Strike' will be will be available for Battlefield 4 Premium members 2 weeks early.
'Naval Strike' will focus on water-based combat, featuring four new maps set across the South China Sea: Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker and Operation Mortar. This DLC pack will include 5 new weapons, a hovercraft vehicle, a 3GL attachment for the Assault class, an Anti-Heli Mine, and 10 new assignments. In addition, the Carrier Assault mode, a re-imagined version of the classic Battlefield 2142 Titan Mode, will also be introduced.
'Naval Strike' will be available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in "late March". Premium owners will be able to access it for free, while everyone else will have to pay $14.99. Two other expansion packs, 'Dragon's Teeth' and 'Final Stand', will be released later this year.
