In an interview with Famitsu, Hideo Kojima, Director of the Metal Geat Solid series, praised the PS4. Kojima states that among the home consoles available on the market, the PS4 is the best.
"I think, between the home consoles available in the domestic market, the PS4 is the best. It's also excellent for graphics, being able to render 1080p at 60fps with room to spare. Since it does it a little better than other hardware, the image quality of the PS4 is the most beautiful. It's the closest to the photorealistic quality we are aiming at," said Kojima.
In the same interview, Kojima also praises Sony's portable console by stating that Ground Zeroes looks even better on the PS Vita via Remote play. The director also revealed that he wanted to released Metal Gear Solid V as a full package, but with so many fans wanting to play the game earlier, he decided to release Ground Zeroes, which also served as a way to celebrate the new generations of consoles.
Following Kojima's statement that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes looked better on the PS4, numerous reports emerged this morning mentioning the same. Sam Smith from Play magazine said "The PS4 version of Ground Zeroes is gorgeous. Quite a lot better looking than the Xbox One version, too... controversy", while a member of VGFacts stated "Get Ground Zeroes on PS4, not XB1. Way better visuals, frame rate, everything... I believe."
