Following the leaked images revealed last week by Kotaku, Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin's Creed: Unity for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The title will feature a new main character, and it will take place in 18th-century Paris, during the French revolution.
Ubisoft released a teaser trailer featuring stunning in-game footage across the Parisian seeting of the title. "We have been working on the new Assassin's Creed for more than three years and although we weren't quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand!" reads the description in the announcement trailer.
Assassin's Creed: Unity is one of the two rumored Assassin's Creed titles to be released this Fall, with the other being codenamed Assassin's Creed: Comet, which is to be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 according to rumours. Assassin's Creed: Unity will be released at the end of the year.
