A trailer has surfaced for the grand finale of the Batman Arkham saga, Batman Arkham Knight. In the trailer, many familiar faces of the Gotham City were shown as well as possible hints to new combat.
Gamers will be happy to know that Rocksteady is back at the helm of the Batman's final adventure. While old hands are returning to work on Arkham Knight, several moments in the trailer hinted at possible additions to Batman's combat abilities. The most notable was the redesigned Batmobile used to assist the Dark Knight in combat. In the trailer, Batman uses it to rush into a firefight and ejected from his seat as his armored car continues forward to provide shielding for some overwhelmed cops. After dispatching most of the criminals, the car speeds back to Batman who leaps into the cockpit and takes off after Two-Face.
As villains are revealed and combat is shown, an unseen person narrates the last will and testament of Thomas Wayne, Bruce Wayne's father. Ironically, the requests of Thomas seem to be both upheld and contradicted by Bruce's life as Batman.
Batman Arkham Knight releases on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this year. Those who pre-order will be able to play as Harely Quinn via DLC.
