Codemasters Working On New IP For Digital & Console Platforms

Codemasters is nowadays known for their high quality racing games in their DiRT, Grid and F1 lineup of games, but it seems that a new IP is just around the corner for the UK based studio, according to new job listings.

Codemasters is looking for developers that have had "experience on new console platforms and PC" as a desirable skill. Also, Codemasters is also looking for developers to work on a new IP for mobile and tablet platforms. Although it is not clear if that is related to their IP for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.

It is still unclear whether their new IP is going to be racing related, but a good indicator comes their community manager Ben Walke which previously stated that the studio is "firmly focused on our racing titles at the moment".

Codemasters has hinted that there is an announcement incoming later this week, but not confirming whether it is related to the new IP, or a new game in their current lineup of games. Let us know what you would like to see from Codemasters in the comments below.
