In preparation for the launch of Final Fantasy Agito next month in Japan, Square Enix has released a new trailer which showcases gameplay amongst other things.
To clear up some confusion about the game's name, this isn't the same as Final Fantasy Agito XIII. No, that game went on to become Final Fantasy Type-0, but to make things even more confusing, Final Fantasy Agito is set in the same world as Final Fantasy Type-0. That means it's also part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis franchise.
The trailer has been titled "Cherry Blossom" and while short (only 46 seconds) it does give gamers a glimpse of the battle system, how dialogue will work, equipment and also the Crystal Gacha.
It's just unfortunate that, as with Final Fantasy Type-0, this game is currently a Japanese exclusive and there are no plans to release the game outside of Japan.
Also worth noting is that the game will be released for iOS devices, but also Android. That means there is still a glimmer of hope should Square Enix decide to release the game in the Western market.
