Microsoft Announces Xbox One's Price And Launch Titles For Japan

Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox One's launch price and game line-up for Japan. Microsoft's new console will be arriving on the 4th of September, nearly seven months after the launch of the PS4.

Two Xbox One bundles will be available at launch, one comes with Kinect and the other without it. The Xbox One that comes with Kinect will be available for ¥49,980/£291/$490, while the version without Kinect will cost ¥39,980/£233/$392.

Regarding the console's launch titles, Microsoft has confirmed that titles such as Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome will be available at launch. In addition, Square Enix has stated that it will distribute titles like Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Thief and Call of Duty: Ghosts in Japan.

The Xbox One was released in November in 13 countries, and will be released in September in 26 addtional territories, including Japan.
