Nintendo has chosen to opt out on holding a live press conference at the E3 expo for the second year running. Instead, they are going to be hosting various events online and at their booth to showcase their new line-up of games.

The first of these offerings is a "Digital Event" which will be held on Tuesday, the 10th of June at 9am PT. It will "reveal and provide further detail about the gaming experiences on the way for Nintendo platforms in 2014 and beyond".

The next is a demonstration of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game for the Wii U and 3DS. To help them with the show, Nintendo has invited 16 highly skilled players of the Smash franchise to the NOKIA Theatre in LA for a Smash Bros. tournament on the Wii U version of the game. More details about the event will be announced soon.

The Nintendo Treehouse will be hosting via webcast and at the Nintendo booth on the showroom floor which will feature an in-depth look at the biggest games Nintendo has to offer. The webcast will be hosted during all hours of the E3 show.

And finally, Nintendo and Best Buy are continuing their partnership from last year, letting fans play some of the Nintendo games from the expo at participating Best Buy stores.

Make sure to stay locked on to Gaming Union during the E3 expo for all the latest news and announcements.
