Today PS Vita's system update v3.15 along with PS4's 1.70 update will be for both PlayStation Vita and the PlayStation App. Mainly the biggest update is the PS4 Link update for Remote Play. The 3.15 update for Vita makes linking your PS4 and PS Vita together much easier than before.

It enables Automatic Device Registration, which will now automatically detect and pair both systems together when they're both online and the same user is signed in to both of the devices. This makes it even easier for you to get started with Remote Play or access more second screen features.

In addition, the PlayStation App v1.70 Update for PS4 updates push notifications, friend requests and even more. With this PlayStation app update, you'll be able to receive push notifications for only the PS4 updates you wish to receive, like Invitations, Game Alerts, or Friend Requests. You can now also receive Friend Requests via email or text messages with this app update. Another feature is that you can change your profile picture right from your mobile device by uploading an image from your photo library, or by taking a photo using your device's camera.
