The shutdown of the GameSpy servers will affect several titles among producers, such as Rockstar. With titles such as Grand Theft Auto IV, Red Dead Redemption, among others, Rockstar has decided that some services will remain, while others will be permantly shut down.

Rockstar has revealed that Grand Theft Auto V is unaffected, but Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption will lose Social Club stat tracking, leaderboards, in-game Social Club services, and the in-game leaderboards on the PS3 versions. The online gameplay in Max Payne 3 will remain unaffected, except on Mac.

Midnight Club Los Angeles will have it's online multiplayer shutdown on PS3, with Social Club features, account linking and the in-game Rate My Ride and Driving Test unlocks will be disabled across all versions. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on DS and PSP will also lose their Social Club mini-games, stat tracking and content unlocks. Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition will see its online multiplayer mode and in-game leaderboards removed.

Earlier this month, Crytek announced that the PC versions of Crysis 1 and 2 would lose their online multiplayer due to the GameSpy servers shutdown.
