Activision has announced today that Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be making its console and PC debut this June. The title will be released on the 24th of June in North America, and on the 27th of June in Europe.
Rise of the Dark Spark will tell another chapter of the Transformers story, taking place alongside the events of Age of Extinction, while merging with the Cybertron universe from the games. The title will feature a single player campaign that will let players chose which side they want to affiliate themselves with. There will also be 40 playable characters and coopeative modes up-to 4 players.
North American gamers that pre-order the title at GameStop and EBGames retailers will receive 2 bonus characters, Thundercracker and Skywarp, as well as two new weapons. These pre-order bonuses won't be available for the Wii U version, and at the moment, they are yet to be confirmed for Europe.
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and 3DS. The home console versions will be a third-person shoter, while the 3DS version will be an RPG.
