E3 2014: Halo: The Master Chief Collection Releases November 11

By Jared Scott on June 9, 2014, 2:50PM EDT

For the first time, gamers will be able to experience the entirety of Master Chief's adventures on the Xbox One. Containing Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4, this special collection will also include access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta which begins December 5th.

Halo 2 is receiving an Anniversary Edition for The Master Chief Collection just like Halo: Combat Evolved did a few years back. While this means two of the Halo games will be remastered from their original format, Halo 3 and Halo 4 will remain the same. Each game is promised to run at 60 fps and at 1080p. With four games in one package, there will be over 100 maps for players to challenge each other on.

Along with beta access to Halo 5's multiplayer, those who buy the collection will also receive Ridley Scott's Halo: Nightfall digital series.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection comes exclusively to the Xbox One on November 11th.
