Following Square Enix's leak via trademarks, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris was officially announced today at Microsoft's conference. This new entry in Tomb Raider series will actually be a sequel to 2010's Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
While Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light featured a cooperative mode up to 2 players, the sequel will offer co-op up to 4 players. Players will able to chose between Lara Croft, Osiris' wife and son, Horus and Isis respectively, and Carter, her archaeologist rival. The title will take place in Egypt, but no more details were revealed regarding the game's plot.
While a release date and price have yet to be revealed, the game's executive producer, Scot Amos, revealed that the game is "coming soon." Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
