Sony's press conference at last month's E3 revealed a remastered version of Grim Fandango that will make its way to both the PS4 and PlayStation Vita. It is now confirmed that Grim Fandango will also release for PC, Mac, and Linux simultaneously with Sony's consoles.
Double Fine's founder, Tim Shaffer, was the game's original director at the time while working at the now-departed Lucas Arts. Grim Fandango was released in 1998, over fifteen years ago, and was well received by many. While a beloved title, the game never received a sequel or re-release until now.
Double Fine has not yet said when the remaster of Grim Fandango will release on the five systems.
