Rockstar Sued By Actress Lindsay Lohan

Last December, actress Lindsay Lohan threatened to sue Rockstar Games for using her likeness in Grand Theft Auto V. Half a year later, the actress has officially filed the lawsuit in a Manhattan court.

The lawsuit claims that the character Lacey Jonas from Grand Theft Auto V uses plaintiff's likeness in terms of physical appearance, voice, and even wears the Lindsay Lohan line of clothing. There is also a supposed reference to her former residence, the Chateau Marmont hotel of West Hollywood, when gamers are involved in the Lacey Jonas quest. Ironically, Lacey Jonas is portrayed as a stereo-typical movie star who barely eats, thinks she's fat, and spends millions of dollars to change her accent.

Whether there is any truth to the accusations against Rockstar will be left to the courts, but there is no denying that this will certainly be an interesting, if not entertaining, court battle.
