Assassin's Creed Memories launched today on iOS devices and can be download for free from the App Store. Memories is a spin-off of the Assassin's Creed series, offering card combat gameplay that's a mix of combat, RPG and strategy.
By accessing Abstergo's mobile animus, players will be able to travel through time and visit several eras and locations that have been visited so far in the Assassin's Creed series. Players will also get a chance to visit completely new periods, such as feudal Japan and imperial Mongolia.
While travelling through time, players can collect cards, which can be used to boost your stats or summon special characters to help you in combat. In addition, the game also has a multiplayer component that supports 20 vs. 20 player guild battles.
Ubisoft has also revealed that the game will also include in-app purchases, but the publisher also states that these in-game purchases are only meant to speed up the gameplay if you want to. It's also important to notice that you will require an internet connection to play Assassin's Creed Memories.
