Klei Entertainment has announced that the PS Vita version of Don't Starve will be released next week. The game will be available in North America on the 2nd of September and in Europe on the 3rd of September.
Entitled Don't Starve: Giant Edition, the PS Vita release includes the original game plus the Reign of Giants expansion. This expansion features 2 new characters, new seasons, new biomes, an extra save slot, and other challenges.
Unfortunately, Klei Entertainment has confirmed that the game won't support a Cross-Save functionality with the PS4 version. The good news is that the game will be available as a cross-buy title, which means that players that own the PS4 version of the title will be able to download the PS Vita version for free starting next week.
Don't Starve: Giant Edition will cost $14.99/€13.99.
