2K Games has announced that Evolve, the first-person shooter being developed by Turtle Rock Studios, has been delayed to February 2015. The game was originally scheduled to release on the 21st of October.
As for the reason of the delay, 2K Games has stated that it was necessary in order to polish the game and allow it to reach its absolute optimal state before its release. Despite the delay, Xbox One players can still look up to the exclusive beta that will be available before the game's release.
Evolve follows the example of several other titles that were schedulled to release this October but were then delayed, such as Battlefield Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition.
