New Watch Dogs Update Allows You To Hack Your Friends

A new update for Watch Dogs, Patch 1.03, was released today in both North America and Europe, while Asian players will have to wait until 26th of August. This patch will introduce several gameplay fixes and a few additions, including the ability to hack your friends.

Up until now, players would connect randomly with other people, with no option for the player to select his or her friends. With this latest update this has now been changed, and gamers are now allowed to select their friends, enter their world, and hack them.

Ubisoft has also introduced a penalty system for those that disconnect frequently from multiplayer matches. As a result of this action, these players will be paired up with other players that show a similar behaviour online.

Other additions featured in this patch include the ability to reset previously played Gang Hideouts and Convoy Missions after completing the main story line. Also, the Drinking Games have been re-tuned based on the feedback from the community.

Watch Dogs is currently available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. The Wii U version of the title is expected to release later this year.
