Three More Pokémon Will Be Distributed For Pokémon X and Y

It was only last month that Nintendo sent out the special edition Vivillon to commemorate 100 million global trades made on Pokémon X and Y, and now another three Pokémon are being prepared to arrive digitally on the Nintendo 3DS. These three Pokémon are Heracross, Pinsir, and another special edition Vivillon.

As you may have guessed, the purpose of distributing Heracross and Pinsir is to allow those who play Pokémon X and Y to more easily obtain version-exclusive Pokémon. This means that Heracross can only be downloaded to a copy of Pokémon X and Pinsir on Pokémon Y. Vivillon, which comes in a Poke-ball pattern, can be obtained on either version of the game. Vivillon is being distributed to celebrate the grand opening of the brand new Pokémon Center website.

Heracross and Pinsir come at level 50 with the Adamant natures. The ability of Heracross will either be Swarm or Guts while Pinsir's will be Hyper Cutter or Mold Breaker. Heracross's move set includes Bullet Seed, Pin Missle, Close Combat and Mega Horn; but Pinsir's are X-Scissor, Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Return. Vivillon will come with the moves Stun Spore, Gust, Light Screen, and Struggle Bug.

Heracross and Pinsir can be obtained starting on August 13th, but the Poke-ball pattern Vivillon can be downloaded from now until August 12th. From August 18th to the 31st, the Mega Stones for Heracross and Pinsir can be downloaded by using a special code contained inside of GameStop flyers.
