Techland announced that the survival horror action adventure Dying Light is releasing in January 2015. Dying Light was previously scheduled to launch in February, after being delayed to 2015.

As any typical zombie apocalypse-themed game, Dying Light has players gathering any kind of weapon they can find in order to survive. In addition to over 100 weapons included in the game, players can also craft their own weapons.

Dying Light will also feature a day and night cycle. Day time is when the enemies are slower and less dangerous, allowing players to easily scavenge for supplies, set up traps, save random survivors, and make their way to airdrops. When night falls is when zombies become far more dangerous and faster, which forces players to avoid getting in contact with them as much as possible.

Dying Light will launch for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on the 27th of January in North America and on the 30th of January in Europe. Those that pre-order the game for the game's official website will receive a free DLC mode called 'Be the Zombie'.
