Tokyo Game Show 2014 is right around the corner and it has been revealed that Final Fantasy XV will not be part of Square Enix's line-up for the show.
The Tokyo Game Show has often been seen as a place for Japanese developers to really showcase their upcoming software line-ups. This has especially been the case for Square Enix in the past few years, as they have used E3 and Gamescom to showcase their Western titles, while using the Tokyo Game Show to highlight their Japanese offerings.
The publisher has now released their line-up for the show, but it does not include Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts 3 or Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. There is still speculation which suggests that the titles may be shown off in some other guise, perhaps through a Closed Mega Theatre - something which is not uncommon for Square Enix.
Games which will feature prominently come in the form of Bravely Second, the newly announced Dragon Quest: Heroes, Dragon Quest X Online, Final Fantasy Explorers, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD.
Tokyo Game Show 2014 starts on the 18th of September (Business Day) and runs through until the 21st of September. If Final Fantasy XV or Kingdom Hearts 3 do indeed surface, we will be sure to report anything that transpires.
