The Crew Delayed To December

The Crew, the latest open-world racer developed by Ivory Tower, has suffered a 3-week delay on all platforms, Ubisoft announced. The game is now scheduled to launch in both North America and Europe on the 2nd of December.

According to the developer, the delay was necessary to make a few tweaks to the game based on the players' feedback from the betas. These include the option to fully remove the HUD, fine-tuning the collisions to be even more realistic, adding in new visual effects, making adjustments to the difficulty and improve the voice chat's integration.

"Our philosophy remains to deliver the best game possible. We're all committed to delivering a revolutionary experience in the driving genre and we can't wait for The Crew to be in the hands of the players," said Julian Gerighty, the game's creative director.

Despite this announcement, there are also some good news for players. Although the game won't launch this November, Ubisoft revealed players will be able to experience the game via a new console beta that will be available sometime in November.
