It has already been six weeks since Driveclub launched, and despite the efforts of Evolution Studios, players are still experiencing several issues when playing online. To compensate players for these issues, Evolution Studios is offering for free the DLC that was going to be released later this month.
November's Driveclub DLC includes The Ignition Expansion Pack and Photo-Finish Tour Pack. These packs give players a total of five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items to play with online and offline.
The two DLC packs were part of the game's Premium Season Pass, but players that purchased it don't need to worry about losing their money because four additional packs will be made available for Premium members in July. Like it was previously planned, the Season Pass will give players access to 38 cars, 176 tour events and 80 unique liveries.
In addition, the game will receive an update this Tuesday. This update adds a Photo mode, improved multiplayer collision physics to reduce frustrating spin-outs, an option to see what your club has unlocked, a fix that will allow club owners to change their club badges, and three new tracks for online and offline play.
Unfortunately, there's still no word on when the Driveclub PS Plus Edition will be available. "We are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible," said Evolution Studios.
