November's Xbox One firmware update is now available to download, bringing with it a wide list of improvements and additions. According to Microsoft, this will be the last major update this year.
One the main features of this update is the introduction of customization options that tell a little about yourself. This includes the ability to customize the background on your Xbox One, show off your top achievements, share game clips via Twitter, and add your location and bio to your profile.
For those in North America and UK that use the Xbox One to watch TV, finding new shows and see what people are saying about them are additions implemented in the new Live TV and Twitter integration. A tab named "Trending" in OneGuide has been added, allowing users to see the top 20 most watched TV shows. There's also the option to check the most famous TV shows based on the highest number of tweets.
The Xbox One Store has been improved, allowing players to browse and find content faster. This includes giving players the option to perform specific searches and the Store displaying recommendations in a more prominent way. Smartglass can now be used to check your friends' game activity, browse "Free Games with Gold" and discounted content with Gold and initiate download of the content to your Xbox One, and see what games are going to be released soon.
Other additions of the update include Snap IE, IE Featured sites and the option to restart your Xbox One.
