Gearbox Software has announced today that the multiplayer services of Borderlands 1 have been restored on PS3. Borderlands' multiplayer was taken offline last year when the GameSpy servers were shutdown, which affected the multiplayer of several other games.
With Borderlands now back online in both North America and Europe, Gearbox Software states that this update will also include a few changes and fixes. While in multiplayer, players can now sort their friend list in different ways, including who is playing Borderlands, who is online, and in alphabetical order. This update will also deliver some voice chat improvements and fix the "And They'll Tell Two Friends" trophy.
